  1. Stoneleaf Retreat

Stoneleaf Retreat is an artist residency and creative space for womxn and families, set in the Catskill Mountains of New York. 
It was founded in 2017 by Helen Toomer and Eric Romano to foster and support connection and community within a calm, natural setting.

In 2020, Helen also founded UPSTATE ART WEEKEND promotes creative spaces in the Hudson Valley and provides a curated road map to explore art and culture across the region. This self-directed, accessible event, celebrates community, collaboration, art and the outdoors. Save the date, UPSTATE ART WEEKEND, August 27-29, 2021

  1. Woodstock Film Festival

The Woodstock Film Festival (WFF) is a not-for-profit organization that nurtures and supports emerging and established filmmakers, sharing their creative voices through an annual festival and year-round programming to promote culture, diversity, community, educational opportunities and economic growth. WFF has provided innovative mentoring and inspired educational programs benefitting filmmakers, students and diverse audiences, while serving as a powerful cultural and economic engine for New York’s Hudson Valley and beyond. Such efforts have consistently resulted in the festival being hailed as one of the top regional film festivals worldwide.

The 22nd annual Woodstock Film Festival will be held September 29th - October 3rd, 2021. For more info, check out woodstockfilmfestival.org.

  1. Woodstock Playhouse

As a landmark playhouse site in the pages of American Theatre History, the Woodstock Playhouse today is a Not-for-Profit theatre under the ownership & directorship of the Pan American Dance Foundation, Inc., which also owns and operates the New York Conservatory for the Arts of Hurley, NY. The organization has invested their years of growth to purchase, enclose, revitalize and preserve the Woodstock Playhouse, a treasure of national theatrical history, for the current & future generations.

Among the cast members of the celebrated Woodstock Playhouse Productions' Summer Stock Company, many of the emerging professionals have been and can now be seen in lead & featured roles in theatres & venues across America, as leaders at musical theatre institutions, on National Tours, and on Broadway.

Today's Woodstock Playhouse is a vibrant venue featuring a wide range of productions, festivals and events established for the gathering of Woodstockers and visitors to its internationally recognized home of Art, Music, celebrated small town hospitality, and a tapestry of innovative thinkers.

  1. BLUEprint

Ulster County will host an outdoor summer event series on the grounds of Enterprise West — the former TechCity — thanks to a collaboration with the newly established arts organization BLUEprint. The group is a collective of local artists, musicians and designers who have run concert venues, operated design studios and built art and music studios, and have previously established successful festivals in the Hudson Valley, including the O+ Festival.
