A Perpetual Legacy: Artifacts of the Native and Dutch Settlers (Exhibit)

In celebration of the 355th anniversary of the Nicolls/Esopus Indian Peace Treaty, this exhibit will feature many Native American artifacts found both at the Persen House, and in Glasco during an archeological dig completed in the 1980s. The exhibit will also highlight some of the many artifacts of the 17th century Dutch settlers.  Learn about their similarities, differences, and how these two groups learned to work together. Hours of Operation:May 23 – Sept. 5: Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Sept. 12 – Nov. 21: Saturdays only 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or by appointment.
