Performing Arts of Woodstock Presents “We Won't Pay, We Won't Pay”

Performing Arts of Woodstock’s new season of play readings opens Sunday, Jan.21 with Nobel Prize-winner Dario Fo's absurdist farce “We Won't Pay, We Won't Pay.” Here the human spirit’s desire to meet the basic need of hunger with dignity is described in a side-splitting satire involving a consumer backlash against high prices. The cast comprises Kevin Higgins, Wil Anderson, Jessie Truin, Geneva Turner and Justin Waldo, who also directs this production. The play will be performed at the Mescal Hornbeck Community Center, 56 Rock City Road, Woodstock, Sunday, March 3 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12.
