This free event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. will include presenters featuring children's book authors,  illustrators, comic book artists, graphic novelists, and storytellers sharing their craft. For four hours, kids, teens, and their parents can meet some of their favorite, local literary icons, and storytellers including Jon Muth, Walter Simonson, Louise Jones and Billy Deltz.  Interactive creativity stations will include Creating Seasonal Poetry with Julie Fogliano (author of “And Then It’s Spring”) and Calligraphy with Josh Paynter. Participants will want to bring a bag and take advantage of the used book sale.

This family-friendly event also features a walking tour featuring some of your favorite literary characters of The Hudson Valley like Rip Van Winkle and a Harry Potter Apothecary where brews, potions, and spells will be on display. Quidditch will be played on the green, and there might be a chance to catch that Golden Snitch!  Enjoy performances by top Hudson Valley musicians and students.
