Art in the Park at Sam’s Point

June is a great time to see many flowers in bloom at the park. Join Rebecca Howe-Parisio, Interpretive Ranger for a relaxed three-mile walk to Lake Maratanza, where we will enjoy lunch and explore the Mountain Laurel blooming through the power of art. We will provide paper and crayons for drawing. Pack a lunch and we will sit on the shore to enjoy a mid-day picnic. This program is suitable for children between the ages of five to twelve years old, accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 18. Due to COVID protocols, the total number of participants for this program is limited to 15 individuals. All participants must wear face coverings or keep a minimum six-foot distance away from others who are not part of their immediate household. Meet at the Sam’s Point Visitor Center. Pre-registration is required by calling Sam's Point at 845-647-7989.
