Ulster County Cultural Services and Promotion Fund Opens - deadline April 12, 2017

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY: The Ulster County Cultural Services & Promotion Fund (UCCSPF) is a funding resource dedicated to maintaining the artistic and cultural assets of Ulster County through capacity building, programmatic support, and strategic collaborations for the arts community with the purpose of promoting Ulster County through arts/cultural activities that add to the economy and quality of life for the residents of Ulster County. Financial resources for this program have been made available by the Ulster County Legislature and have been administered by Arts Mid-Hudson since its inception in 2008.

Funds are available for capacity building as well as programmatic support. Awards for capacity building initiatives will range from $2,500 - $9,500 and can be used for various activities, including administrative or programmatic capacity building and institutional advancement projects.Awards for programmatic support will range from $1,000-4,000 and can be used for arts and cultural programs and other activities that increase participation in the arts in Ulster County.

All applicants are encouraged to attend a free application workshop to learn more about the program's funding priorities and how to develop a competitive application. Workshops are 90 minutes and include time for Q&A.  Appointments for individualized feedback on potential initiatives will also be available.
